RFCAs also have responsibilities in other areas many of which engage and involve local communities - whether helping those in need, or providing information to aid recruiting and raising the profile of the Armed Forces in society.
It is vital that Reservists and their families are kept aware of what is available to them should they need help in any aspect of their military life, past or present. RFCAs maintain strong links to all the major Service charities and provide another port of call to direct people to the most relevant organisation to deal with their particular needs - physical, mental or financial. Details of the major charities can be found on the inside back cover. RFCAs also provide specific welfare grants and wider financial support.
