SaBRE
Employer Support
SaBRE (Supporting Britain's Reservists and Employers) is a national campaign set up by the Ministry of Defence to enhance the relationship between employers and Reservists.

The campaign seeks to promote Reservists to employers and raise awareness of the valuable role they undertake. It also seeks to provide support and advice to both Reservists and Employers on the rights and obligations of employing members of the Volunteer Reserve Forces.

With headquarters in London, the campaign is delivered through Regional SaBRE Campaign Directors in 13 RFCAs. Drawing on the RFCAs extensive network they engage with both military and civilian communities, providing impartial information, advice and support at local level.

The SaBRE website has information on all aspects of employing Reservists, including mobilisation, employers' case studies and legal rights and obligations. Visit www.sabre.mod.uk

The SaBRE Freephone Helpline offers advice about any issue relating to the employment of Reservists. Call the SaBRE helpline on 0800 389 5459.

SaBRE produces regular briefings for employers on topical issues relating to Reservist employment and gives employers the opportunity to comment on their experiences. This dialogue enables SaBRE to communicate their feedback to government ministers - acting as the employers' voice within the MoD.
